Everest Highlight Trek 11 days
Everest-highlight-Trek

This inspiring short adventure treks into the heart of the spectacular Everest region, staying in comfortable lodges and enjoying short walking days. From Kathmandu we fly to Lukla and trek up the Dudh Kosi Valley to Jorsale, where we ascend through pine forest to Namche Bazaar, the largest village in the region.

The mountain scenery is incredible with the peaks of Kwangde, Ama Dablam, Kantega, Nuptse, Lhotse and Everest towering high above the village. In Namche we explore the market and have the option of morning and evening excursions to view the sunrise and sunset over Everest.

We also visit the Sherpa Museum and walk to the nearby villages of Kunde and Khumjung to see the school and hospital built by Sir Edmund Hillary. We enjoy friendly Sherpa hospitality, visit a Buddhist monastery and perhaps meet Tibetan traders and their yak trains that have crossed the Himalayan range, carrying goods from China to trade in the villages. We return to Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu to complete our extraordinary journey.
