Karnali River Fishing Trip

For the more adventurous angler, expeditions down KARNALI RIVER, one of the remote rivers in far-West Nepal can be a perfect way of exploring perhaps the most inaccessible areas of this diverse himalayan country. A typical week-long trip starts high up in the foothills of the Himalayas, with amazing views of rhododendrons and the snow capped peaks of the central himalaya.

Among the many fishes found here, the Golden Mahseer is prized above the others. Karnali is the ideal place for Mahseer fishing. The best season to go fishing is before or after the monsoon i.e. from February till April and from October till November when fishes go upstream for spawning and consume less food.
